FAQ

Questions people ask

Is there a cost to use this platform?

No. There is no cost for drivers to list their service, and no cost for passengers to search or post a request.

Is there a cost to add my car, van, or bus service?

No, there is no cost to list a carpool, van, or bus service on PickDrop.PK.

Who can list a service?

Car owners starting a carpool, van drivers, school bus owners, or anyone offering a regular pick and drop service. Passengers looking for pick and drop service can also post their requirement.

How long until my listing goes live?

Your listing goes live immediately after you submit it.

Do you check listings?

We carry out periodic reviews of listings to make sure they follow our site usage and anti-spam policy. This keeps the platform safe and useful, especially since many listings are for school transport involving children.

Do I need to get verified to be listed?

No. Verification is optional — your listing goes live as soon as you submit it. PickDrop.PK marks trusted drivers as Verified at our own discretion; it is not something you can request or trigger yourself. Passengers, especially parents and women commuting alone, are careful about who they message, and they favour Verified drivers.

How does a passenger contact a listed driver?

Each listing shows a WhatsApp number. Passengers call or message directly.

Which cities and areas are covered?

PickDrop.PK covers multiple cities across Pakistan, not just one — see the current list on the homepage. Every city and area we cover has its own page, with carpool and pick and drop listings.

I do not see any listings in my area. What do I do?

Post your request using the passenger form on your area's page. You can also check back later as new drivers join.

Can carpooling save me money on fuel?

Yes. Splitting a daily route with two or three other passengers can meaningfully cut what you spend on fuel each month, since the cost is shared instead of paid alone.

I commute the same route every day. Can I list it as a regular pick and drop?

Yes. Mention your regular days and timing in the details field when you list, for example "daily, Mon to Fri, 8am and 5pm", so passengers know it's an ongoing route, not a one-time trip.

What is Check Number?

Check Number looks up a WhatsApp number to see its listing or request on PickDrop.PK, along with matching drivers or passengers nearby. Use the Check Number page, or simply type any number straight into the site's URL, like pickdrop.pk/03XXXXXXXXX.
